Each treatment has brought positive changes and encouragement to the intensive care team. They feel he has an 80% chance of recovery based on their experience and research done with Leptospirosis and internal medicine toxicology in Labradors. We are hopeful and and praying for a full recovery. He’s the sweetest boy and deserves a long life of service and companionship. Oskar just finished a long work/service training regimen that has fine tuned his natural traits to give him a driving force in life. He was perfectly healthy until this sudden illness got the best of him. My whole life has been dedicated to taking care of humans in need and community service as an EMT, Paramedic, critical care/emergency nurse and currently a Flight Nurse in the northeast.  We are humbly asking for the community’s assistance in helping Oskar get the care he needs and financially assisted while at UPENN VET Hospital.  We thank everyone for their support and consideration to help get this sweet boy healthy and home with his brother and best friend, Guinness, (and his parents of course too).  We thank my sister Caitrin for starting a support group for us in hopes to help keep bills up to date while covering hospital expenses.  Thank you everyone! ❤️‍🩹

Hope Oskar gets all better so he can teach me how to swim some more. He's my bestest canine cousin and pal
