THE BELL HAS BEEN RUNG! FIRST ROUND COMPLETE! 🔔
Today is a day we have been counting down to for six very long weeks.
Chemotherapy — DONE. ✅
Radiation — DONE. ✅
First round of treatment — COMPLETE. ✅
And today, Greg rang that bell loud and proud! 🔔❤️
I cannot begin to put into words how incredibly proud I am of this man. These past six weeks have been some of the most difficult weeks we have ever walked through together. There have been so many challenges—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and many of them we chose to keep between the two of us.
There were hard days. There were tears. There was exhaustion. There were moments when we wondered how we were going to get through another day. But somehow, one day at a time, we did.
We know this journey isn’t over, but this chapter is. For the next month, there are no daily radiation appointments and no chemotherapy. Our job now is to REST. HEAL. REGAIN STRENGTH. And hopefully find our way back to a little bit of normal.
To every single person who has prayed for us, checked on us, driven Greg to treatments, brought food, sent messages, made us laugh, listened when we needed to cry, or simply reminded us that we weren’t walking this road alone—thank you. You have carried us more than you will ever know.
And Greg… I am SO incredibly proud of you, babe. ❤️ You fought your way through these six weeks with more strength and courage than you probably realize.
And as if ringing that bell wasn’t enough for one day, today also marks the end of another incredible chapter in your life.
FIRST ROUND COMPLETE!
Now we rest. We heal. We breathe. And when it’s time, we keep fighting.
