A Message from Mr. Greg to the Manzanita Students

Hi Manzanita Students!

Some of you may know that Mr. Greg has been sick and has been fighting something called brain cancer. Cancer is an illness that happens inside the body, and Mr. Greg has been working very hard with his doctors to fight it and get stronger.

Even though Mr. Greg isn’t at school every day anymore, Manzanita will always be a very special place in his heart — and so will all of YOU!

Mr. Greg has spent many years helping take care of your school, and there is something very important he wants you to do for him:

Take care of Manzanita and take care of each other. ❤️

Help keep your school clean. Pick up after yourselves and lend a hand when you see something that needs to be done or a friend needs help. Be kind to your teachers, your friends, and everyone who works hard to make Manzanita such a special place.

Most importantly, work hard, make good choices, and keep learning and growing so you can become the very best version of YOU.

Mr. Greg wants every Manzanita student to remember:

Never stop smiling.
Never stop laughing. 
Never stop learning.
Never stop dreaming.

There are SO many amazing things waiting for you in your future! 🌟

Mr. Greg misses seeing all of your smiling faces and hearing your laughter around campus. He is incredibly thankful for all the love, kindness, prayers, cards, messages, and support that the Manzanita community has shown him while he fights his cancer.

You have helped remind him just how special the Manzanita family truly is.

Keep working hard.
Keep being kind.
Keep taking care of your school and each other.
