Miracles for Marigold
In our Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) therapy, Marigold is practicing sitting (see attached photos). She is learning to engage her arms and hands as this will help her to sit unassisted. We are very excited because we can see the progress she is making. We can also see how much she is enjoying moving her body in new ways. Our goal right now is to get Marigold sitting unassisted by three years old. Our DMI therapist believes this to be a very possible goal. The most important thing for Marigold to learn right now is how to control her head and keep it lifted. This will help her create balance and ultimately achieve sitting unassisted. Every exercise our DMI therapist practices with Marigold addresses head control. The faster her body is able to develop head control the faster we can reach other milestones. Please know your generosity and contribution brings so much light and hope to Marigold achieving what is a very monumental physical milestone! We can’t thank you enough.
Hugs and so much love to you all!
