It’s been a few weeks since our last update, and Merida is doing well. Her MeeMaw has been recovering beautifully from her surgery, and Merida has been patiently waiting for warmer days so they can get back to their walks together. Just as MeeMaw was feeling ready, the weather turned cold again—as if Mother Nature knew a little extra healing time was needed before they could head out.

We’re all feeling the impatience that comes with waiting, especially when the path forward is right there but still out of reach. Merida is planning her next steps and reminding herself that progress takes time. She’s wishing for her Trexo sooner rather than later, and we’re hopeful that brighter, warmer days aren’t far off.
