I’d like to say it’s the final day of clean up but in all reality we have a long road ahead of us. 

But the road has been easier on us to travel with all the help from our friends/family and community. 

I don’t wish something like this on anyone, but if you have to go through it then I only wish you encounter the love and support we have. 

Today the KBDR team returned. The dumpster was changed out for a new one. We removed the debris that we emptied from the house yesterday and filled the dumpster up. The team power washed the inside of the house and squeegeed as much out as possible. They sprayed the house with shockwave for mold removal. Then they fogged the house again with a cleaning agent.  

We’ve taken care of all of the acute issues. Now we will begin stages of how to start rebuilding. 

Tomorrow Talon and I will stay at an Airbnb provided by United Way. This will be minutes from therapy so super beneficial. And it will allow us to have nursing care again.
