Mav's First Update 💙

One thing Maverick has absolutely perfected is his sign for “thank you,” and right now that feels especially fitting.

We are so grateful for every single donation, share, message, and person who has chosen to support Mav. Every dollar is helping us give him access to more intensive therapy, pursue the individualized ASO treatment, and keep pushing toward more independence.

And somehow, only 24 hours after an incredible woman and resource in the special needs community, Advocacy Abby, encouraged us to put this platform together, you all have already helped us raise enough to cover the cost of Maverick’s first intensive therapy starting September 8th.

He’ll be working four hours a day, five days a week, and will finally get consistent access to DMI, which is one of my favorite therapeutic approaches for him. We’ve only been able to try it once or twice during his regular 60-minute weekly therapy sessions, so I am beyond excited to see what he can do with this kind of time and repetition.

He’ll also get his first try in the NeuroSuit, and I’m already preparing myself for what seeing him stand independently, even with the help of the suit, is going to do to me.

We cannot wait to share his progress, celebrate the wins, and show you all exactly what your support is helping make possible for him.

It is hard to explain what it means to know so many people are standing behind Mav and helping us give him every opportunity we can.
