Mason has his breathing tube out!

Mason is up and able to talk to his family. He   tires quickly, but he is continuing to move in the right direction. 

Right now he is not allowed to eat or drink. He can chew on ice chips, and was trying to get his family to let the ice chips melt so he could drink it. Typical Mason, always pushing the envelope. 

His respiratory system has grade 3 damage. Mason will continued to be monitored by his care team closely. So closely that they had to sit in his doorway and watch him all night. Did I mention he’s stubborn? 

Mason remembers everything that happened. He remains so humble and wants to check in on everyone else. He was asking about Trent, Logan, Asa, Lane and Brenton. His boys miss him dearly at camp, but they are making plans to visit when he’s stronger. 

It is helpful Mason has his family there. He was able to wake up to familiar faces.
