Another day, another step in the right direction!

Mason has been working hard! He is continuing his PT and doing very well with it.

He was able to eat some ice cream and that made him happy. Mason said the hospital food was lack luster at best. 

The boys were able to lift his spirits and spoke to him on the phone for a minute. As he regains more strength, he will be able to talk more. Once that happens, I will let everyone know. 

Mason and I made a bet on shooting clays when he’s healed enough. I haven’t shot a gun in 3 years, so he is confident he’ll beat me. We will CERTAINLY keep everyone updated. Things like that show his determination. It also helps his passion motivates him to work hard. 

His parents and brother continue to be his support system. They are there day in and day out. Mason is lucky to be surrounded by so many people who love him and care for him.
