9/20 Update

Today I’m asking our friends and family to please keep my mom, Marlene, in your prayers.

This Tuesday mom has several procedures scheduled to evaluate her esophagus and reflux as part of her ongoing care after her lung transplant. While these are routine and not considered major procedures, she always struggles a bit with anesthesia and is understandably nervous.

One of her biggest concerns is her voice. Singing and worship music have always been special to her, and she’s worried about any effects on her vocal cords.

Please pray for peace over her mind, steady hands for her medical team, smooth procedures, no complications, and good results. Most of all, pray that God continues to protect the precious gift of breath He has given her through this transplant.
