4/19/24 Mackenzie Status

We’re happy to report that at long last, Mackenzie’s breathing tube is out! She is doing great so far on the less invasive breathing support, and we’re very thankful. The hope is she’ll be able to transition from PICU to the rehab floor in the next week or so. We’ll then shift gears to the next stage of treatment, which will include a mix of chemotherapy and immunotherapy while she rebuilds her strength. Today, we are celebrating this big step forward!
