Mackenzie's oncologist called with good news today! The mass is continuing to shrink and he has messaged the surgeon inquiring if it is time to remove the mass. No response yet but I'll let y'all know when I get it!
Mackenzie has had 3 rounds of chemo so far. She will continue with chemo even after the mass has been removed for a total of 12 rounds.
She will also receive radiation treatments after the mass is removed to kill what cancerous cells can't be seen. That's further down the road, though.
I'll be with Mackenzie this weekend for Halloween, she wants to be a pink kitty cat. Expect pictures!
