After exploring a Cleveland Clinic neurologist we have decided to stay with Dr. z at akron childrens. We just had a keto clinic appointment thursday and it was the best one we've had so far. Keto Clinic appointments are with his neurologist, a keto dietician and the nurse on his case whose been helping me navigate our specialty pharmacy. We decided on increasing his epidiolex and weaning from HH CBD due to the effectiveness of the epidiolex we've seen. With HH CBD out of the picture he has more room for more epidiolex! They were all super happy to see how interactive he is compared to his last appointment when he was still on vigabatrin. Dr.z is also very supportive and curious about our treatment plan with NeuroSolutionsATX and she even made a comment during the appointment about how there is increasing evidence about red lights effectiveness for seizure treatment. His care team at akron childrens is enthusiastic about us going and having all the equipment needed to get us there. this makes me feel so validated and even more motivated to go!

Total : $1400.00 (not included in the treatment cost mentioned later)
Lab Process:
- Once ordered, the lab kit will take 3-4 business days to arrive at your home.
- The kit will come with instructions and a return label.
- After you have the samples sent back to Vibrant, it will take approximately 10-14 days to process them.
- Once the reports are ready, Vibrant will notify us by email and we will upload them to your file and reach out to you to schedule a Lab Review.
- 30 min lab reviews ($250.00)
- 1 hour lab reviews ($500.00)
- If you book an Intensive the labs can be reviewed during that time and included in the price.
After these are done they will create a supplement regimen for Mack to support his body optimally to prevent inflammation or deficiencies causing seizures.
The next steps would be to book an intensive week. This is the "treatment" we are seeking that he will receive in Austin Texas.
They recommend a 2-3 week intensive after the labs have been completed.
The intensive weeks are $9500 for each week. A deposit of $1000 is required to hold the intensive. The deposits are applied to the price of the Intensive.
We would love to do at least one week of the intensive treatment at NeuroSolutions. for one week of treatment + labs before (with a review of them) that would be:
A bare minimum total of $11,400
This doesn't include the travel costs, a place to stay or the fuds for the maintenance tools at home.
We have an emergency fund that we do not want to deplete but we will if we have to. Please help us reach our fundraiser goal so we can take our son here for the best treatment with out boundaries! This is something even his Primary Neurologist/Epileptologist is hopeful about.
