Today Blake and I made our way back to Crossroads in Doylestown and we brought Mack with us!

Unbeknownst to us, the sermon today was about the paralyzed man who was hoisted down into the room Jesus was in by his friends. This man, searching for healing and the chance to lay his eyes on the man who claimed to be the son of God was unable to get himself there. His friends, who were believers made sure to get him there though!
Even if it meant cutting a hole in the ceiling. How profound that the day we decide to take Mack to church for the first time, this is the passage they are talking about. This reminds me of our efforts for healing Mack with the worldly options we have and the prayers that I've poured over our son daily.

I've been thinking this passed week; Meeting resistance in your journey doesn't mean God is telling you "no". It could mean you need to recruit God's people around you to help cut a hole in the ceiling :)  I have never been good a passiveness. Active faith is rooted in me deeply sometimes to a fault and I cant thank you all enough for enabling this trait in me for the good of our son.

There is a new description on our donation page that describes our situation more accurately now that a coupe months have passed since we started this registry. Go read that to get the bigger picture if you haven't been reading updates! We have opened a store with shirts that will help raise money for us too. click here to shop! We love you all! Thank you for reading and praying.
