Surgery went fantastic and Mack was perfectly stable during the whole stay but he took NINE hours to wake up after surgery. Last surgery he took 5 hours, the one before that, 2. So this seems to be a worsening issue. He also can not keep his oxygen up with out supplementation so we are in the same situation we were before surgery unfortunately, with having tubes on his face and needing to carry a tank everywhere. Next steps: waiting for weaning instructions for vigabatrin, and pray for him to gain the ability to keep his oxygen up independently after it stars to leave his system.
