Mack fell asleep right before we were heading out for our walk this morning. we spent an hour outside before leaving for speech therapy. If you know how sensetive mack is to light, sound and wind, you know this is a huge deal! His oxygen requirement is remaining at 3/4-1/2 l/m. A blanket of confusion has been over me for several days but I’m getting better at not letting these valleys take away my hope for Mack. I thought his oxygen requirement would be improved more by now but that isn't the case. 

Right now we are prioritizing increasing his over the counter CBD dosage which will cost more money per month but its the only seizure medication that has any impact on his seizures. Right now a month supply of his CBD oil is $150. With an increased dose that will bring it to $300 per month. This is the total for two bottles per month required for the increased dose. Mack’s current local therapies include speech, pt, Myofascial, chiropractic care, NET, red light, estim and vibration therapy. The last three are done at home! Only speech and PT are covered by insurance. Every day we see new things from Mack and it is very clear that all of these therapies are working together to benefit each other!! We are so blessed to be able to afford these out of pocket therapies with the help of our supporters. Mack is more alert and interactive than ever. He interacts with switch toys very well and very intentionally. Studies faces longer and recognizes new voices immediately. He enjoys speech therapy now.. which is so crazy!! He reaches and touches/ caresses my face when we cuddle. We are so proud of him and we cant wait to see how HBOT improves his physical and cognitive health. When we have the consultation with Dr Harch I will post an update about it. I pray every night that we will be able to get him to this treatment.
