We are saving for two big things for Lizzie right now; an intensive therapy that is two weeks long down in Cary, NC for November/December and THEN after that we are aiming to go to MEXICO for Stem cell therapy (🤯)
We had an amazing call with a doctor down there and we are wanting to get her down for treatment as soon as possible (aiming for first half of next year)
We have connected with other families who have utilized this intervention for their kiddos who present similar to Lizzie. They have shared incredible results and it has been so encouraging to see their progress.
In the meantime, we are focusing on getting Lizzie to a comfortable spot with her GI/feeding issues so we can maximize on our time down in NC. This has been a bit hectic, with multiple trips to CHOP, specialists, doctors, and just a handful of different tests.
I will leave no stone unturned to get Lizzie everything/anything she needs to be able to live her life to the fullest and give her every possible opportunity.
