Lindsay Joy Elkins Taylor
I just wanted to take an opportunity to give an update on Lindsay, and to thank everyone who has so generously supported her and Brandon, whether through financial donations, gifts, or with good thoughts and well wishes.
Lindsay is nearing the end of the chemotherapy portion of her treatment. She has two rounds left and is scheduled to be done in mid-April. She has found the second type of chemo to be more difficult to tolerate, and it takes her longer to recover from each infusion. She is eager to be done and to move on to the next steps. She meets with her surgeon a week after finishing chemo to assess her response to the chemo and to make plans for her surgery. We hope that her surgery at Stanford will be in mid-May. She'll celebrate her 40th birthday in early June, and then begin 6 weeks of radiation. The journey is long, but she's facing it like a champ!
She asked that I thank you all for your love and support. She is not able to respond to all the personal messages she receives by phone, text, and email during her treatment, but she does receive them and she is so thankful to each and every one of you!
With gratitude,
Kelley (Lindsay's Sister)
