We are so happy to share some wonderful news about our little hero, Lian. He has been approved for a standing wheelchair! This special wheelchair will help Lian stand up, which is really good for him. It will make his muscles stronger and possibly advance him into bearing weight on his own. This will also help his bones get tougher, which can prevent any breaks in the future. Lian had been doing great improvement with speech and expressing himself through sign language. He started to say Mama (verbally)! His sweet little voice warms my heart every time. In his PT they are exposing him to standing and bearing weight, pushing him to be better and stronger.
