Wanted to share with you all how Lian came into our family. When Mila was 2yrs old she mentioned she wanted a baby sister. My response was "Mila honey you have to pray for that to happen." The reason for my reply was because I was told by "Dr's" that I wouldn't be able to have babies naturally. Hence Mila being our little IVF miracle. After Mila turned 6 months we had another transfer. We celebrated hope, but then faced loss when Jessa, our precious daughter, went to be with Jesus at 4½ months. Grief washed over us, but Mila never stopped praying.
 And then, in 2023, I got pregnant naturally. No medicine. No plan. Just God showing up in ways we couldn’t see. We hoped for a baby sister for Mila — but God had other plans a little brother. We named him Lian, which means Gift of God/ God answers. It could not be a more perfect name.
I explained to Mila that God doesn’t always give us exactly what we ask for, but He always gives us what is best.
Our journey hasn't been easy we've experienced miracles, hope, loss, grace and surprise. Through it all God has been faithful. Even when I couldn’t see how it would all fit, He was working. His timing is perfect.
I share this as a reminder: it’s okay to pray boldly and ask God for anything He hears us and God answers. And often, His gifts come in beautiful, unexpected packages.
