Wednesday: evening addendum

Alertness, sense of humor, and more movement in left leg throughout today all were encouraging.  Clear chest CT.  They are a little reassured about his lungs now, so they will slowly decrease the oxygen he's receiving overnight and see how he does.  Infectious disease team came to round re: the positive staph culture.  They will hopefully be able to re-try the diagnostic test that had to be discontinued yesterday (indium scan) to identify the source of infection.  Ongoing staph infection still a tremendous concern.
