9/13- Leah was more restful overnight and all feel a bit more restful this morning. Morning dressing change is over. OT was impressed with how much movement she has and took a couple staples out so she has even more movement. Her left arm and hand are looking better , the right one is still rough to see but also healing Leah handled it like a champ and even walked out of the tub room back to her room. She is back to resting now. Joy and Drake feel encouraged by the progress. Leah continues to be heavily medicated for pain management. AND she pooped!!!!
Uncle Levi, the super hero in the situation who rescued her from the fire was able to see her this morning and is pretty wrecked. Please pray for his sweet, sweet spirit. His reflexes in the situation were nothing short of miraculous. There was no hesitation to rescue her but that is so much for a 14 year old.
How to pray;
Continued miraculous healing over her burns.
Continued movement for her fingers and wrists.
That she will feel well enough to play for short periods.
That she will eat more- currently only eating chocolate chip pancakes. But don’t worry Pops made some extra special protein packed ones for her.
Yaaay for healing, pooping, and protein pancakes......and big hugs for Uncle Levi.....and of course lots and lots of prayers and hugs for everyone! ❤❤❤❤🌻

I just saw the post, and read about Leah. Such a heartbreaking accident, however, I see God's hands upon her as I read the updated posts. Leah is showing just how miracles are still in play, and she WILL be telling us all about her encounters with her angels watching over her during this healing process. Prayers for mom, dad and yes Uncle Levi. First thank you for your quick wit and response. You saved her from what could have been so much worse. I will continue to pray for healing, and strength for everyone. God bless and hold onto Jesus
