9/12 update: this will probably be the only update for today.
Leah had her worst night last night. She was in extreme pain and flailed and screamed most of the night. She has already had her dressing change for today. They are really encouraged by how good her fingers look.
Dressing change was really difficult for Joy and Drake today. Everything is really raw and bloody. Which is hard to see but actually encouraging because blood flow is a good thing. She has LOTS of staples in her arm holding the grafting in place. The doctors have increased her pain meds again in hopes to get her more comfortable. All the staff are amazed by her strength when angry and her feistiness.

How to pray:
- Leah needs to poop. Today. She hasn’t had a bowel movement since the accident.
- Rest. Please pray that Leah, Mom and Dad are able to get good sleep today.
- Pain management. Obviously we want Leah as comfortable as possible.
