Today was a very good day!! I completed my last round of chemo!!! Not out of the woods yet since I’ll still have 1-2 weeks of side effects from chemo and then I’ll have surgery in December, but this feels like a huge accomplishment in this journey!!!
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t wish chemo on anyone and it’s not fun, but overall my body did really well tolerating the drugs. I’m so thankful that my side effects have been minimal and manageable! The chemo nurses, Sabrina and Evelin, at Maryland Oncology and Hematology in Bethesda are awesome; big shout out to them for getting me through this process!!
I plan to do breast reconstruction in mid-December and I’m now hoping to have my ovaries removed the same day instead of having two separate surgeries. I’ll keep you all posted on that, but the plan is to start 2026 fresh and healthy!!
Most likely this will be my last update for a while since nothing new is happening until December. Thanks again for the continued love, support, texts, meals and donations!! We love you all so much!!
Thanks again!!
