I wish I could preserve time in so many ways. Time spent with loved ones who have passed, time spent with friends from afar, and time spent with Kinsley without the worry of cancer.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and boy do we know one fearless cancer fighter!
Kinsley jumped, swam, and climbed her way through these past couple of weeks. The backpack infusion isn’t set to return until November, which should hopefully allow her to enjoy her birthday and Halloween without the extra baggage.
In the mean time, she started the next phase in her treatment called delayed intensification. This is synonym to “watch out,” as it involves a concoction of chemotherapy, infusions, lumbar punctures, steroids, medicines, and of course lab draws and pokes.
So far, she’s tolerating it well. Please continue the prayers for Kinsley, and include Rob and I, as we pray for our sanity these next 8 weeks!
Thank you for your love, support and positive vibes!

It’s often hard to find the reason during hard times. God has blessed Kinsley and will heal her. Her journey has a “stone in the pond” ripple effect and will touch other people’s lives, some she doesn’t even see or know. There is great joy in that! Kinsley’s full healing is assured and the love she receives from her family and friends everyday is her best medicine.
