Splashing into September!

Kins made it through her 28 day infusion in time to enjoy cannonballs!

Learning to live with a pump connected to a tube inserting immunotherapy into your body through a needle 24/7 was definitely an adjustment. But with the help of some cool backpacks and the persistent mind of a 3 year old, Kinsley kept moving forward.

She started ballet and jazz classes again. She joined her friends at daycare and family on camping trips. She also spent many days picking veggies at Stades, riding her bike in the neighborhood and racing her brother on four wheelers. All of this while navigating her weekly clinic visits, home health visits and physical therapy.

We are so proud of her and have celebrated these past few days with family and friends in the pool. 

In two weeks, she will have lab draws and start another 28 day infusion along with some potent chemo. Until then, you can bet she’ll be living her best life splashing her brother and fishing for bass up north.
