A few quick updates....

Unfortunately Kelly was readmitted to the hospital this past Saturday due to a reoccurring fever. Based on test results it appears that Kelly is dealing with some pneumonia which they preemptively began treating her for while they confirmed the test results. 

The other item that was discovered was that her pleurx drains were not draining correctly. After some scans it determine that the fluid that was accumulating was too dense for the pleurx to drain. The have sense began giving her a medication that helps break up the fluid so that it can be drained. The has yielded positive results.

Unfortunately as of last night Kelly's pluerx on the right side had some issues which resulted in them removing it. They are currently working to reinsert the pluerx on the right side to continue the treatment/draining. This is being done today.

On a positive note, Kelly's Oncologist did stop by yesterday evening and told Kelly that she had reviewed her latest scans. The Oncologist said that Kelly is responding well to the radiation and the oral medication and has seen a "significant" reduction in the size of the masses on her lungs.
