Still here in the ICU, but thankful for a decent night and some rest. π€
Heβs now on a nasal cannula at 2 liters. His oxygen sats dipped a little after a pretty rough coughing fit, so respiratory has been paged to come a little early for treatment. RSV is no joke. π
He restarted feedings last night with a slight change to the plan. The dietitian has been wonderful β truly listening and working with us. That means more than I can say. π
Today weβre praying for:
β¨ Easier breathing
β¨ Tolerated feedings
β¨ Strength to keep improving
β¨ And moving from the ICU to the floor
Weβre so grateful for the incredible team here at Cook Children's Medical Center and for every text, prayer, and check-in. Please keep them coming. π
