Rainy days feel heavier when you’re already carrying so much. 🌧️💔 Sitting at Cook Children's Medical Center while the skies pour outside just feels fitting today.

As Kaiden was drifting off to sleep, his oxygen started dipping again. Despite repositioning and doing all the things, he’s now back on oxygen for support. It’s discouraging when you think you’re moving forward and then suddenly you’re not. 😔

And as if that wasn’t enough, calls about home modifications and a ceiling lift have now been thrown into the mix. 🏠📞 Processing oxygen needs while also discussing structural changes to your home is… a lot. It’s one of those moments where reality hits in waves.

But this is just part of the road — not the end of it. His lungs are healing. We are adjusting. We are advocating. We are taking it one breath, one call, one decision at a time. 💪🫶
