We had such a wonderful week together as a family—disconnecting from the world and truly recharging our hearts. 💛

But last night things took a turn. Kaiden began having increased secretions and mucus, spiked a fever, and his oxygen levels kept dropping. Yesterday afternoon he tested positive for RSV. After closely monitoring him at home and seeing him continue to worsen, we brought him to the ER at Cook Children’s Medical Center, where he was admitted to the PICU and is now on high-flow oxygen.

Please keep Kaiden—and our whole family—in your prayers and thoughts right now. 🙏💙 Mom will be staying with him and is unable to work while he’s inpatient, and Dad is home holding things down with the other kids and all the animals.
