Verdict Update & URGENT Prayer Request

In support of
Joscelyn Family

I promise I haven't forgotten to update you, but as of today we still haven't received a verdict from the Stand Your Ground Hearing.

It's almost been a month. I have NO IDEA why it's taking this long. We were told it could take up to 2 weeks but "shouldn't be that long."

Again, I will update y'all when we receive a verdict!

HOWEVER..

We just found out today that the man who shot my husband has filed a motion to be released from jail on bond.

Again.

PLEASE PRAY that the judge will not allow him to be released!!

We truly believe that this was premeditated [attempted] murder and Joshua and I both fear for our family's safety if he is released.

As of right now, we do not have a date for the bond hearing.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers!

May God keep you in perfect peace through this whole nightmare of a journey. Thank you Lord for protecting Joshua's life. Please Lord keep this man in jail. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid. Psalm 119:165 Abundant peace belongs to those who love Your law; nothing can make them stumble. Romans 8:6 The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. / Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. / For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Psalm 23:1-3 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. / He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. / He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; / in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you. Psalm 91:1-2 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. / I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it. John 16:33 I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” Psalm 62:1-2 For the choirmaster. According to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. In God alone my soul finds rest; my salvation comes from Him. / He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress; I will never be shaken. Hebrews 4:9-10 There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. / For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. Love and prayers, Mary A. (Your grainie in prayer for you)

I will definitely pray that this man is NOT released from jail, and that you would soon hear the verdict. Plead Jesus' blood over your family. I will be praying the same, and that you will remain sheltered and hidden by God. Stand firm and trust God in this trial. I will also pray that the devil will be silenced through this man. You are battling the spiritual forces that are stirring up this man.

Prayers....waiting can be mental cruelty....your husband has pretty blue eyes! Nasty, rageaholic, alcoholic abusive neighbor here, but I hope he has enough sense not to cause us physical harm, but he has certainly threatened on more than one occasion. Sherrif is ABSOTIVELY USELESS!

My family will be praying for your family, that the Lord will keep you safe and comforted during this stressful time. Just remember justice will be done, no matter what the verdict is, God has a plan and it really is the perfect plan even though it doesn’t feel that way sometimes. When something like this happens we find ourselves asking WHY? That isn’t for us to know right now, but all will be revealed when his time is right. God Bless you and your family.

The Lord reminds us that the battle is His, and His justice will always prevail. Maybe it's time to take your family to a safe place. List the property and move on. Let the Lord deal with the man. The amount of stress you are all under is exactly where the opposser wants you. Don't let your peace be taken any longer. Praying for your family.

Dear Lord, please be with this family. We don’t understand why this happened to them, but we ask for you to comfort and protect them. We thank you for the blessings that you have showered upon them because that’s what you do when we need it most. Help them find peace in your Word. Help Joshua with his pain. In the name of Jesus, we ask for these things and we thank you for everything you do for us daily.
