Sunflowers for wishes

Recently we went to Buttonwood Farm for #sunflowersforwishes, an event in which 100% of the proceeds from cutting your own sunflowers went to Make-A-Wish CT. We had a lot of fun, and the weather was beautiful. Participating in this fundraiser was special for us because this year, Jordan has been granted a wish!

We’re excited and grateful for this opportunity and we’ve thought long and hard about Jordan’s wish. We wanted it to be something that added to her quality of life and that she’d benefit from for years to come. So, what did we wish for???

A fully accessible first floor bathroom for Jordan, designed completely with Jordan’s use in mind. We currently have a full bathroom downstairs, but it is not accessible for her and needs renovations to become accessible. This bathroom is right around the corner from what will be her bedroom, so it’ll give her full first floor living. A home that fits the family in it, truly makes a house a home, so we are incredibly excited to be able to do this for Jordan.

This renovation is a big one for us and Make-A-Wish is making it so much easier. There are, however, some things Make-A-Wish is not able to do or cover the costs for. So, it is with your help that we’re able to get this project across the finish line for Jordan. Thank you for your love and support in helping to make this wish come true.
