Hi Everyone,
I hope you all are well! It has been too long since I provided an update! I want to share with you all Jordan's new bathroom. As I've mentioned, this bathroom was part of Jordan's wish from Make-A-Wish CT. There were some costs Make-A-Wish couldn't cover and certain things they were not permitted to do, such as widen the door frame. So it was with your help and support that we were able to make this dream for Jordan (and for us all) a reality. We were able to widen the door to 36" and add a pocket door for accessibility. We converted a small stall shower into a roll-in shower. The large vanity was removed and a small floating sink that we can wheel Jordan right up to was added. We also took out the closet and added an adult size changing table - another feature that really makes this bathroom hers.
This bathroom isa game changer for us and will make caring for Jordan easier and enhance quality of life all around. I've said it once before, but I really believe that a house becomes a home when it accommodates all who live there. And our house has never felt more like home than it does now!
