Jett went to Cincinnati Children's Gastroenterology for a follow up appointment. Jett has issues with weight gain due to constant vomiting and stomach issues due to his low muscle tone. With his recent gain of strength he has went from vomiting multiple times per day to hardly at all! His progress was shown through his weight gain. Jett is up to 27 lbs 12 oz (8th percentile) and 35" long (3rd percentile). We have also been able to introduce back all foods since his visit six months ago. His GI doctor was thrilled with his growth. We will continue with his current diet by making sure he is getting enough calories. Right now he is getting DouCal for additional calories and a plant-based protein milk. Any appointment where there is no talk of adding medication or a G Tube is a win! We will return in July. As usual, Jett was an excellent boy for mom during the long car ride and for the appointment.
