Quick update (seriously, the quickest). Iβm sure many of you are wondering how Jessicaβs surgery went, so we wanted to update you:
The surgeon said it (lumpectomy) went well, they marked the perfect (sentinel) lymph node when they did the initial biopsy, so he was able to remove that for testing and he was able to ensure that he got a good margin around the tumor. All good things. ππΌ
Sheβs focused on recovering from that procedure, and weβre focused on making sure she rests and does nothing else. π
Theyβll test the tissue they removed and the lymph node(s) for cancer cells. Weβre obviously hoping, praying, and believing there is nothing left of it.
Thank you all so much for the continued support. So many of you have let us know youβve been praying for us. What a blessing it is to have so many wonderful people in our life!
Matthew 11:28 βCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.β
