Day 75. (Day 10 in ICU)

ICU still. 
On hold on the transplant list still… was due to pancreatitis, now due to current sepsis (candidemia bloodstream).
As soon as these gnarly infections are cleared, he will be re-listed and eligible for surgery.
Kidneys are still struggling. We know he has an acute kidney injury, we don’t know for sure yet if he has hepatorenal syndrome.
Peritoneal drain is still in, everyone is trying hard to make a plan for managing ascites with the drain out. Risk of another infection with this is high. 
Blood counts lower than ever. We give blood products daily, but this boy is still oozey everywhere. 
Central lines will need to be changed due to the candidemia, but we can’t do that just yet. 
Another scope is in the future. 
Sedation dropped lower again today, but now Colby is dealing with what we think are swallowing issues. He’s very distraught most of the time when awake still.
