I was able to attend Maddie’s 8th grade graduation which I am incredibly thankful for. I passed on to her the watch I received for my residency graduation (see pic of us dancing at my graduation, while I wear the watch). I am so proud of the beautiful person she is becoming. I’ve missed many important school days (like kindergarten graduation) that we celebrated in the hospital. It was special to be there for this one.
