Harrison's G-Tube surgery has been moved from September 3rd to September 9th. We are still expecting a 2-3 day inpatient stay in the cardiac unit. Although it's disappointing that it's been postponed, we've learned to let go of expectations and roll with the punches. Regardless, it is very exciting to think about him being NG tube-free for his first birthday later in September!

I'd also like to add that we will begin quarantining Harrison in October (and possibly September). We would love to see everyone, but for the best interest of maintaining Harrison's health ahead of his upcoming heart surgery, we need him to stay away from all germs. If he gets sick in the slightest, it delays surgery scheduling by 6 weeks each time. We will, unfortunately, be declining group gatherings that occur indoors. This includes eating out at restaurants. Also, we will not be hosting playdates or other group gatherings in our home. Thank you for understanding and respecting this choice we're making to protect Harrison.
