Update on Gabriel — November 2025 

 

This past Friday, Gabriel was sent to the hospital near where he receives treatments after his CT scan earlier in the week revealed fluid in his lung. We went to the ER and were then transferred to the children’s hospital, where they drained 2.8 liters of mucky brown fluid from his right lung that night. 

 

We came home Saturday, and this week we’ll be back at therapy every day as he continues his fight. 

 

The cost of the medication for this week alone is extremely expensive — truly the cost of a small car. Cancer is an extremely expensive disease, and every bit of support makes a real difference in this fight. 

 

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us raise the funds needed for one full week of treatment. We are hopeful and prayerful for a second week to be covered in the coming weeks. 

 

I need you to know — this type of cancer does not have a specific cure. 

This is the way we are fighting. 

We are doing everything in us to give him life. 

Through your prayers, support, and generosity, we are standing strong and believing that Gabriel will have good news and return to being a healthy teenager soon.
