First of all, it's our true joy and privilege to say HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! And we want you to know how much we appreciate and love each of you! Today, Valentine's day, seems like a great day to remind you that you are deeply loved by our Savior, and the Anderson family as well!
I have been focused on one goal as we start this the new year. I've told Joannie many times, I HAVE ONE JOB RIGHT NOW.... BEAT CANCER! We continue to pray for healing and we trust the Lord for all we need. I'm excited to tell you we have seen God do some really amazing things. I believe the opportunities The Lord has given us to share the Good News has only increased the further we travel thIs recovery road!
Each day Joannie and I pray aloud the following prayer...
"Lord, take us today, to where YOU WANT us to go.
To meet the people YOU WANT us to meet.
To have the conversations YOU WANT us to have with them!
Fill us with your Spirit, so we will serve YOU!"
In the scripture, John the Baptist says says, "He must increase, and I must decrease" John 3:30
This prayer has been answered in many incredible ways and I'm finding that sharing the good news of Jesus's love has become an exciting privilege each day (2Cor 5:20). I have realized that I at times can become so familiar with the Gospel story that I can wrongly assume that everyone has heard and knows the Truth. I spoke to a young (17yrs) man tonight who had no knowledge of Jesus and what he had done for us. It was a joy to see his face when I told him he was loved and valued by the God who created him (pray for Luke).

We are settling in to our new home in SC. We are grateful to be "back home". My mom is doing great and is enjoying us being here to be with her. Our daughter Hope is now engaged to Landon, and we're super excited for this young couple. Joannie's Mom was just with us for a few weeks and we were reminded of how precious it is to have this time together in this season of life. Family is a true treasure.
Thanks for your prayers and generous gifts to help us along the way!
