On the Road Again!!!!

After two terrific days at the Preston Tisch Brain Tumor Institute at Duke University, we are on the road back home. But some of you may not know that Home is in a different place now! Joannie and I have relocated back to my hometown of Myrtle Beach South Carolina. We’ve been blessed to serve in ministry in South Florida since 2007. Now the Lord has relocated us for a new season of ministry and we are very excited about it.

We had a wonderful appointment with a Neuro ophthalmologist. He was very thorough and we took 2 1/2 hours of testing. His conclusion was that my vision is stable and the tumors are not having a direct impact on my ability to focus my eyesight. The MRI taken last night was very revealing to the doctors who are monitoring the location and size of the four tumors.

Friday, (today) we met with the cancer experts to review the results of the MRI. Our oldest daughter Michelle came over from Charlotte to be with us for the results with the docs.

We are super pleased with the quality of care that exists in the Duke medical network. We will return to Duke in early March for another MRI and appointment with the specialist. I’m reminded every day that I’m to be obedient to Christ and that the battle belongs to THE LORD! (Psalm 144)
