Joannie and I are celebrating the new year in our new home in Myrtle Beach, SC.  It's been really great to be here in my home town with family and so close to our dear Moms.  We lived here from 1989 until 2007. In many ways it feels like we're coming back to a familiar place.

Reflecting back on the end of 2025, the road was really bumpy!  We had doc visits, and some hospital visits.  Overall we have felt very blessed and each day we have, we've seen the mercy and grace of God. I was able to finish the Chemotherapy and have not had many negative side-effects in the final 30 days. THANK GOD for His comfort and favor!

I continue to believe in the power of prayer and the difference your prayers have made in my life. The Lord God has heard our prayers and the tumors have NOT been growing in 2025! Our community of friends and faith has been extremely generous and helpful. Giving us encouragement and love, right when we have needed it!

Joannie and I begin 2026, praying together the same prayer of last year...

Lord, take us today, to where you want us to go.
To meet the people you want us to meet.
To have the conversations you want us to have!

When I start the day with that request, it's truly amazing how God answers that prayer. I look forward to sharing those stories with you in the future!
