Don't Miss these Miracles (by Joannie)

When David approached Goliath, he made mention he had already killed the lion and the bear. Though it may seem he took credit for these incredible feats, I hope he knew God had killed them for a bigger purpose.

The last several days as we have seen doctors, friends and family, without exception are quick to say, “Greg REALLY does look good.” (I have to agree, but won't digress just yet.) As I think of the observations of others, I’m fairly aware of the “behind the scenes” appointments, doctors' thoughts, new and changed medications. I want to grab a megaphone and announce…WE ARE WATCHING A MIRACLE! It hasn’t been an instantaneous miracle where everything is better all at once, but incrementally.

These miracles include: having friends (who are doctors) telling Greg to go to the hospital, getting a quick diagnosis, being at a wonderful hospital, having a group of doctors who have knowledge and compassion to direct our many questions, being employed by a ministry who had in place excellent insurance, having friends who would walk us through legal paperwork, being in a position to help care for Greg full time, friends who have dropped off meals, and those who have sent gifts, cards, and texts, those who have helped with our taxes and a friend who has guided us on each payment of every medical bill, you who pray consistently, you who have made valuable suggestions, and specifically godly encouragement, having family who have walked with us every step of the way, having each other, and enjoying our relationship with The Creator of the Universe while He shares His peace daily and in abundance. AND there are so many other miracles…so many many more.

We continue to pray for God’s Will, His Glory and a revival. The obvious “complete healing” prayer hasn’t been experienced…YET…but IF we have been praying for “a” miracle…well we have seen it. Because we KNOW God killed the “lion and the bear” this Goliath is nothing for HIM. Don’t miss the miracles. The lion and the bear are substantial miracles, this Goliath is in HIS hands, we can trust Him.

Praise God for wonderful and knowledgeable doctors, for friends and family and for every moment He gives you to share your faith journey. God is so good. He is so trustworthy and loving. Yes, this miracle of God killing Goliath is still in the working process for Greg. As David threw the stone with very strong Faith he knew that God would direct the Stone to hit Goliath at the exact spot to kill him. My faith in God knows that He is going to kill this rare cancer by directing the stone of the rare medication He has provided to kill it and heal Greg.
