Crossing the TWO YEAR Mark... By God's Grace

This past week has been such an incredible experience. I have felt immeasurably blessed, and I am truly in awe of the power and mercy of our Great God!

It was exactly 2 YEARS ago doctors at Boca Raton Hospital told me I had a very rare and aggressive brain cancer. We agreed to radiation and chemotherapy to begin immediately, but they told me I might have weeks, or maybe as much as two months, to live. This moment was a true test of my faith and led to a genuine communion with God like I've never experienced.

For context, I trusted Jesus to save me when I was 10 years old (1973) and have known since then that He was my only Savior and hope. But now I was faced with this harsh reality... this was really happening now and I needed my Savior on this side of eternity. My timer was running down... I felt as though I was going to be in the presence of Jesus very soon...unless He had a plan to demonstrate HIS power and mercy here on earth.

And that is exactly what happened! A tremendous outpouring of prayer by so many of you, literally all over the world, asking for the healing and favor of our gracious God. And He answered!!

Welcome to September! As we complete August 2026, I now go into my 25th month, since being told I only had a few weeks left, IF things went well. My doc told me recently, "Greg, we have no medical explanation to explain what is going on with you" I smiled and said "that's okay. I know what is happening, and where it's coming from."

So many people have been knocking on Heaven's Door on my behalf. I am humbled, grateful, appreciative, and moved to do the same for others who are seeking healing. Not only has the past two years been an incredible experience of healing, but I have also discovered a growing love for people. My compassion for those who are poor, lost, and hurting has accelerated. As long as I am here, I hope to minister to those who are desperately looking for true hope. It's found in Jesus!

Greg, I am in awe as I sit here reading your post. In awe of the strength and endurance our Father, the Great Physician, has given you and your family in this storm. He has covered you under the Shadow of His Wings. His grace and mercy reign. I have tears of joy as I ponder, and am reminded once more, our God is faithful to answer our prayers and to keep his promises. Father, I believe, help me in my unbelief! I am grateful for our friendship and the sweet fellowship we enjoy because He lives and cares for us. There is power and healing in the mighty name of Jesus! I love you Brother.

We just get the privilege of praying and making our appeal for His healing. He is the great and mighty Healer. My Brother you have been in my prayers most everyday since I first heard about your diagnosis. I truly believe God has healed you because He still has more plans for you to complete and you aren't done fulfilling what He has for you too do. During this past 2 years your love for people has taken you to a new Ministry to help others. I know our God is still performing miracles that the Medical Profession cannot explain. An example of that is Chelse' little boy Patrick Eli when he was born wasn't expected to live, but one by one God healed him. When he was able to leave the Hospital after 2 months he still had a hole in his heart and the Doctors he would have to be operated on to fix it later. Praise God He fixed the hole in his heart too. Now he's a healthy little boy full of love and learning through Therapy to do things on his own. Psalms 46:10 says " Be Still and Know that I am God". It gives me great pleasure to watch the Wonderful Miracles of our Heavenly Father and confound the Medical Profession. Love you my Brother.
