Let's Do ANOTHER AUGUST!

It's AUGUST 1st ,  2026

Here's what I texted to a few folks this morning...

"This month, two years ago, I was diagnosed with aggressive brain cancer. The doctors here said I should expect weeks, maybe a couple of months. ( ha, seriously people, I have a Great Physician with a higher address). My Heavenly Father’s will and plan was different. Celebrate with us... two years of abundant life and healing. All in the name of Jesus. Many of you have been praying every day, and I simply want to say thanks as we go into August 2026 ….believing the best is yet to come.!  Greg Anderson "  

Please feel free to share this brief message with anyone who needs some hope and encouragement. For the past two years, I have been waiting for doctors to give me good news, but God has reminded me that that's my job! I am the one giving "The Good News". Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 "we are Christ's ambassadors". It goes on to say that as followers of Christ, we have good news to share. And this is God's amazing plan.

Summer back in South Carolina has been great affirmation of our commitment to serve God wherever we are. We constantly discover ministry opportunities every day. People in our world are starving for good news. So it's our honor to let them know JESUS LOVES them!
I have found sharing my story to be a joy, and paired with the gospel, I'm able to bring Hope to broken hearts.

As we enjoy this August together, let's all look for those opportunities to love those folks who haven't felt love in a long while.  A smile and conversation can open a door for us to share.  We all have our story of discovering Jesus' unchanging love and grace. Let's give it away!
