The experience of reaching a special milestone is so helpful in walking the road of recovery. With each expression of God's grace, my faith has been strengthened for the rest of the journey.
I am now in my 25th month of beating cancer.
For all of us, feeling like we have done something and we make a difference, creates in us a desire to persevere and move forward. I know very well that I have no control over what's happening with the tumors in my brain, but I am fully assured I have a merciful God who I can trust to carry me through. Join us in praising The Lord for these recent accomplishments! His Grace is soooo good!
In the last two weeks, I have been able to walk my youngest daughter Hope, down the aisle at her wedding. That's a dream that I was holding on loosely since August 2024. So on September 20, when I stepped out with my precious daughter on my arm, we both were overwhelmed at the incredible goodness of our God! That evening, He gave me sufficient strength to get through that wedding ceremony! Praise the Lord!
The wedding, for Joannie and I, was an absolute worship service! We had a front row seat for watching God supernaturally turning two into one. Only He can do that amazing transformation. Congratulations Hope and Landon, and may God bless you with many years together serving Him.
Shortly after the wedding, Joannie and I made a trip up to Duke Cancer center for a follow up MRI on my brain and a meeting with the Glioblastoma Cancer Specialist. The following day, we were able to meet with her and get her professional assessment. After reviewing the MRI, she seemed to be both shocked and impressed. Thank God, the images had not changed since the previous MRI. She was very encouraged that I am continuing to heal! Joannie and I are humbled by God's grace and continue to pray that Dr. Batich and other docs will continue to see the power of God's healing, and desire to know Him as Savior and Lord.
More to come as we walk out this journey of trust and believing in the promises of God! Thanks for being with us. We love you all !!
