I am so grateful for all of you who have supported me and my family through this journey. We could not do it without the help and encouragement each one of you have offered!
I completed the first 3 rounds of chemo, and rounds 4 through 6 change to a new drug and schedule. My plan for this week is listed below and I am scheduled to repeat this routine (minus the CT scan) once in December and once in January.
Monday 11/10/25 - CT scan at Skokie Hospital
Tuesday 11/11/25 - Immunotherapy at Highland Park Hospital (complete with the dreaded pre-meds that make me loopy and extremely fatigued)
Wednesday - Friday 11/12/25 - 11/14/25 - Inpatient chemotherapy at Evanston Hospital. I will receive high-dose Cytarabine, a strong chemotherapy drug that requires close monitoring and comes with many potential side effects. I will receive 4 doses over my approximately 48 hour hospital stay.
Friday PM 11/14/25 - White blood cell booster shot at Highland Park Hospital
I am humbled by all the thoughts and prayers on my behalf; here are my requests for this month:
1) Fortitude, encouragement, and peace to endure an intense schedule and treatment, a hospital stay, and the many unknowns that will inevitably unfold throughout the process
2) For family and household needs to be met this week
3) A blessing on all those supporting me and my family this week
4) Minimal side effects and complete remission of this cancer
Thank you!
