Chemotherapy Round 3
This week I head into round 3 of 6 of my chemotherapy schedule. This is my last outpatient chemotherapy treatment as I transition to a new drug as an inpatient the next 3 months (Nov 25 - Jan 26).
I'll be at the cancer center Tuesday (10/14) for a long day, Wednesday (10/15) for a shorter day, and Thursday (10/16) for a white blood cell booster shot.
I am so grateful for the love and support from you all. While I am unable to recognize every act of kindness on my behalf, I am touched by each one and can assure you that they all make a significant difference, no matter if they are big or small.
I have been doing really well the last week or so and wish I could continue to do so, but I also know I need to go backwards the next couple of weeks to move forward in the long run.
For those of you praying for me, here are my requests for this month.

For those of you praying for me, here are my requests for this month.
1) My platelets and other markers allow me to proceed with treatment. Last month my platelets were just over the threshold.
2) I tolerate the chemo well and do not come down with any type of illness or infection due to the impact on my immune system.

3) For continued tolerance of the Rituximab Tuesday. During my first chemo round, I experienced a severe anaphylactic reaction to this drug. Thankfully, I tolerated it much better last month. But they still had to administer it very slowly.
4) For no nausea and loss of appetite. This was a significant concern last month.

5) For overall healing and that God will direct the chemo drugs to kill the cancer cells while causing minimal harm to healthy cells.
6) For clearing, healing, and restored functioning of my lymphatic system.
7) Restoration of my hemoglobin levels and the ability of my body to make blood since the pervasive presence of cancer cells in my bone marrow has compromised my body's capability to do so .
8) For family and household needs to be met this week.
9) That those who refresh me and my family this week be refreshed and blessed as they bless us.
10) That God be glorified in and through me in all things!
Thank you! π₯°
