Some days certain circumstances trigger echoes of symptoms that I felt before we found answers for my TBI. It can be frightening in those moments. Am I going to relapse? In moments when we are reminded of darker times, we have to remind ourselves of the truth. 

"It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." - Deuteronomy 31:8

David said this in Psalm 18, "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." 
We must hold fast to God's promises, his word, the answers he has given us. He will always give us the strength we need to keep moving forward.
