Finn Rose
Finn has been really busy this summer with an intense rehab schedule, a snorkeling trip to the Florida Keys, and lots of great quality time with friends and family. He continues to improve day by day. He is now able to use his right hand for a lot of daily task which is so encouraging. Opening doors, lifting items, and eating are all helping him regain his normal functions. He is even working with us again on our current house remodel project!
His right leg strength has really been impressive in the last month. He is now hiking up the cragmoor steps unassisted and his run stride is looking more impressive everyday. A big shoutout to his sister Zia, who has taken the city bus to Lafayette with him to all his PT, OT, and acupuncture appointments. She has truly been invaluable in helping him recovery so quickly!
We head back to Mayo Clinic for his brain treatment tomorrow on his birthday. Once the radiation treatment is completed, the AVM will hopefully be gone in 6-12 months. He is super excited to get back to the normal, healthy life he was living.
We are just so thankful for all the support everyone has shown Finn and our family through this tough process. Thank you so much! Much love to you all!
P.S. Tomorrow is Finn’s 14th birthday, so if you or your kiddos have a moment, a quick text would be amazing! Thanks again!
